[HowTo] Saturday Off!

I'm celebrating today because it's my first Saturday off in a month!

Here I am again with another how-to.  Although it gets pretty monotonous since my style in putting makeup is just one... the camille style. hehehe

The highlight of this look is the fact that the powder, the blush and the tinted lip balm used are all coming out soon through of course, human nature. ^^ Woot! woot!!
Starting with the bare face of mine...

I look hella miserable without makeup. Hahaha

Here with BB Cream (Skin79 Intensive Classic), Skinfood rice concealer and human nature mineral powder ^^

Here's a sneak peek at the mineral powder... Ugly looking at the moment since that's not the final packaging and I didn't press it professionally... I just did it myself. :D

And here is by bare eye...

I'm using my usual coffret dor neutral palette... I'm too lazy to take pics of products nowadays... :/

So I applied the sheerest cream coloured shade all over the lid up to the brow..

And then I added the greyish brown shade on the lashline... just up to my natural fold...

And then...I lined it with maybelline's eye studio 2-in-1 eyeshadow and eyeliner in purple..

It doesn't have to be too perfect...

And then I also lined the outer 1/3 of the lower lash line..

You can really see the purple-ness^^

And then I curl my lashes to prepare for the falsies that will be attached...

This is the set I'm going to be using.. It's Volume by Etude House. Great buy! Only PhP98.00!!!

I don't use the glue though... I use my Ardell glue...

Left eye facing your right with false lashes the other one, without.. See the difference!
(excuse the room... I'm currently squatting at my little sister's room coz my Ate is visiting from the States)
After putting on both lashes, I fill in my brows.. Still using up my Lavshuca palette. I have a new one I got from my recent Singapore trip but it's by Nature Republic since I didn't see Lavshuca in Singapore...
Notice the difference!!!

Okay.. So I'm weird... My sequencing is all wrong... So after I did my brows.. I also put my Lunasol Brow Styling Mascara to lighten my brows.

And then I curl my real lashes and my fake lashes so they won't be too alien-looking... So that they'd blend...

And then... Mascara!!!

I'm using Canmake Gokubuto Mascara. Very separating but doesn't add much volume... Howell...!

I put it on.. So that they'll blend even more...

Then I also put on my lower lashes..

Don't you love the falsies? They don't look TOO fake. ^^;;

Here's the almost finished eye...

And then I put this sparkly liner by Coffret D'Or I bought out of stress a few days ago together with a purple gel liner... :D

Here it is...

There... I applied it in the inner 2/3 of my lower lash line... ^^

Here's the mineral blush that I made and that I used in this look...

It's a nice peachy shade that can match various skin tones ...^^

Here!!

And then the tinted lip balm... Its a great match to the blush ^^ Its so cool... Hahaha I'm so proud of the RnD team!!! Woot!

Here's a swatch...

Its very light and sheer... ^^

Here's how it looks on my lips...

Okay.. Before the big reveal.. The hair must also be done!

Vidal Sassoon mini curling iron....

Ta-da!

w/o flash

w/ flash ^^
I'm so happy it still looks natural.

I shall edit later to post how it looks in my phone camera ^^

Hope you guys enjoyed this.

[Review] Maybelline Eye Studio Diamond Glow Palette in Blue Iris

Hello!

So I'm trying to save up to invest in the business and to see my vision 2012 become reality... So I've banned myself from the usual makeup I buy. No more Lunasol, Coffret Dor, Paul and Joe, Esprique for now...

As I was cruising through the department store last week I needed to reinforce my eye makeup so I was just planning on using the testers from the counters and not buy anything. BUT!! This one caught my eye.

I've actually been very interested in these Maybelline Diamond Glow palettes for a long time already but this was the first time that I actually tried it on my eye. I would just swatch them before and not think much about them.

Well I ended up getting this... The palette in Blue Iris. ^^
Even if it's called Blue Iris it's actually very purple. Several shades of purple which I find is very flattering on Filipinas and Asians in general...

Here's a poor swatch of all 4 shades... The bottom one being the darkest and the top one being the white silvery shade.

I actually really like this palette. The payoff is good and so is the shimmer that I don't usually find in Maybelline or any American drugstore brand.

I think it's because this line was really geared for the Asian market as I first saw this palette in an issue of Vivi that I have....

Here's how it looks on different eyes~

My eye...

Reby's eye. ^^

I actually have 2 more purchases from Maybelline - The Magnum Mascara and the Eye Studio Waterproof eyeliner... I should probably blog about them soon ^^
