[HowTo] Simple Everyday Nuance and Liese Hair Stuff

Hello ... after a century of not updating here I am with a simple howto~ ^^

It's a very basic every day look that I've been doin these past few days just coz it lessens the thinking time since this look is totally not rocket science.

So first of course is BB cream...
I'm on my 2nd Skin Friend BB cream now. This is Intense classic balm. This one claims to give more coverage than the Gold Label VIP one that I just used up a month ago after like 6- months.

It actually covers more but somehow I find the consistency of the Gold label one better. This is actually more appropriate for my skin type which is oily/sensitive/troubled compared to the Gold Label one that's supposedly meant for dry/mature skin.

A positive thing about this BB cream though is that you can use it up to the very last drop compared to the ones that's in a pump bottle like the Gold Label and the Hot Pink ones.

But the texture is just not the same and it somehow looks pasty when you first apply it. But... it's a BB cream and is essential for my everyday living so I still continue on using it until i use it up... then I shall move on to my Hot Pink one. :D

So here's the pasty face look.

After the BB cream I use Ellana Mineral Foundation and concealer. I find myself using the darkest shade nowadays just coz I don't want to look ghastly white in photos. However I'm sorta reverse acidic... I don't even know if that exists. The darkest shades for foundations look kinda light on me. Which is hecka bizaare and freaaaks me out!

Here's my face with the foundation and concealer on ^^

The palette I'm using today is probably the most worn out ... It looks like it's been through hell and back. Been to different countries but still manages to stay intact. I actually love it when i hit pan. It means that it's earned its worth :)  Coffret D'Or TD Eyes in 05 Beige Tones

I start off with just putting a good amount of the lightest colour on the entire lid... I just used my finger.

Then I use this black eyeliner from TFS.

I line the top lids. No need for it to be perfect... This eyeliner comes of as a dark grey instead of a black. I don't think it's pigmented at all... The VOV eyeliners are much better.... But since it's just going to be a base, using the Face Shop eyeliner is fine.

and then I also line the outer 1/2 of my lower lid...

After that I take the greyish brown shade from the Coffret Dor palette...

I blend it on top of the eyeline that I just drew...

I did the exact same thing on the lower line and it ended up looking like this. My eye got red.. :/ Haha

After that, take the high light shade with a fluffier brush.. (this one's Etude House)

So I put it in the inner 1/2 of the lower lid to sort of high light..

Up next is eye liner.. I'm using this Liquid liner from Bloom.

I just drew it as close to the lash line as my skills would allow...

So it looks like this...

Now it's eye brow time.. I usually skip this part. But since I haven't posted in so long... I included this.

I'm using the Lavshuca eyebrow palette... and a brush from Skin Food.

I get the light brown colour and fill it in the inner 1/2 of my brows...

and the I use the darker brown on the outer 1/2...

I know it looks pretty weird here...

This is after I filled the whole brow in...

Since I have super light hair nowadays I use a brow mascara to lighten my brows to sort of complement my hair colour so it won't look too weird...

I'm using Lunasol's Brow Styling Mascara.. The first ever brow mascara i've ever tried.

Looks super duper light here... because of the flash. But in person it looks better...

Mascara Base Time..

I'm using Dr. Mascara Fixer for Natural Lash. What does it do exactly? I have no clue. I thought it would thicken my lashes but it doesn't really function as well as the Kate Mascara base I have that would make my eyelashes look as if they were fake.

Why do I still bother putting it? I guess it's a psychological thing.. I would like to believe it's doing something good for my lashes even if I don't see the results :D I use it because I don't want to waste it.. nor my money.. So ... there.. I'm using it!

there it is... pretending to help my lashes...

And then I use the Lash Designing Vitcara from Etude House also. This is just an okay mascara.  I think it's still Japanese mascaras that are superior. Korean mascaras are just mediocre when it comes to performance. Why do I use it? Same as the reason why I use the Dr. Lash friggin' Fixer... Haha

And then I use the real deal...Creme de la creme of all my mascaras... Fairydrops Mascara!  It's soooooo good.

Now they're the first ever mascara that did it in this type of applicator. Now, Rimmel's ripped them off already. How sad. I don't think the quality of the product itself is comparable though. This mascara is just pure love...

Finished eye. Mascara on top and bottom lashes.

Next is blush... I feel sorry for scratchin Hello Kitty's cute face :( Inevitable in my jungle-like bag... Sorry

This is the beauty powder.. I think the shade is Pretty Baby. Or something that sounds like that :D

I brush it on in a diagonal manner from the top of the apple of my cheek going downwards.
Ta-da.. Weirdo face

Next is the Kate Blush I shall use to softly high light the cheek area.

I use it on the inner part of the cheek...

Now it's time for... LIPSTICK!

I'm using Paul & Joe Lipstick in 29.  Which is a soft glittery pink.

After the face.. I shall do my hair.

Which is quite a mess. ...

Exhibit A. It looks really weird.

So I take the new hair obsession that I have which are Liese Hair Products that I got from a recent Singapore trip.  Its made by a company called Kao which also does the Asience lines. Very affordable, mass-market Japanese products you can find at their Watson's.

I use this Juicy Shower first. Basically it's a treatment in a bottle. It's a moisturizing mist that can be used on wet/dry hair.

and then...

The heat protecting mist specifically for hair tongs/iron... translation = people who use hair flat/straightening iron.

This smells super funky, but as long as it's doing its job.. I think I can bear with it.

So yeah.. This is how i do it.. I put the bangs up first in a velcro roller thing. It's different sizes, I know. Somehow it works better for me.

So then I iron the sides outwards.

This is how it looks.  Not entirely different, just a little neater.

Neater and wispier?

After several hours at work... The face and hair are still pretty intact. Just a shiny nose which is normal. I just think to myself that I will get less wrinkles when I'm older.. Thank God for oily skin. :D

So that's it pretty much. A breakdown of my daily routine.  I sometimes skip parts of it though - depending on my mood or depending on how much time I have to prepare. :)

Thanks for reading. I hope this is useful for you in one way or the other.
