[HowTo] Grey Gradiation Monday and some reviews..
I mentioned in a previous post that the Shu Uemura pissed me off so I ran towards the Kanebo counter... so these are what I got...
Two things that I justify that I "need"..
A light peach blush and a Brow Mascara so that my dark brows can finally match my light hair..
As I've said.. I was in need of a light peach blush as my favorite Kate blush hit pan a long time ago... Haha
I have to admit I was a little bit disappointed that it wasn't an exact match to the Kate one since the Coffret D'or is really a light peach with gold sparkles while the Kate had silver sparkles...
The Coffret D'Or is a warmer tone than the Kate one.. Its sheer but buildable... It wasn't as what I expected, really. (I never try the shades of these things on the counters)
Then again, it's still a good blush that I'll be using and using on my brides so it's okay :)
As for the Brow Styling Mascara by Lunasol... I've been wanting a brow mascara for the longest time as I got super tired of bleaching my brows just to make em lighter to match my hair.
I actually tried to find some other alternatives as Lunasol's brow mascara is pretty pricey. I tried to look for one at MAC... again, not my favorite store in the world. They had several shades but nothing that compared to the Light Brown by Lunasol.. The only alternative I know was Fasio's brow mascara. Unfortunately, FASIO IS NOW PHASED OUT IN THE PHILIPPINES.... WHY? WHY? Why do these brands that I love just leave me like that?
Anyway, I actually really love this purchase.. I just have to be very careful not to overapply as it would make my brows look hecka blonde. Haha.
I really love the color it transfers to my brows. It sort of makes my brows look more polished.
It applies wet and dries pretty quickly after like 3 seconds of putting it. It's also not hard to remove. So in general I just need to build on the application as I catch myself overapplying it and it looks hella awkward. Haha
I love this.. 10 out of 10 for this brow mascara! *in love*
Also as i was chatting with Jeannette (my other Kanebo BFF - SA in Rustan's) she got me salivating over this christmas gift package from Lunasol she showed me.
Its actually not new at all but I still think it's a super good deal as it has 5 things:
- Super pretty limited edition eyeshadow palette
- Nail Enamel
- Super pretty pink cheek colour
- Liquid eyeliner
- Pretty metallic bag
All this for just PHP 500.00 more than the price of the Eyeshadow Palette!!!!
Yep, there are only 4 sets left in Rustan's but Jeannette said she'll reserve one for me. If and when I get back home from Korea, i'll get this. woot!
Moving on to the HowTo...
Last night I was already set to make today a Lunasol day but lo and behold as I was putting my makeup.. I forgot and did grey stuff from my Kate and Maquillage palettes...
I'm getting old... >,,<
Anyway.. moving on...
Kate.. I don't know if I love Kate... Kate is probably my least liked out of all the Kanebo brands... but still good... I have no idea why....
I just learned from Nel (my Kanebo BFF - SA in Landmark) that they're taking out all of Coffret D'Or point makeup... and just focus on the base makeup... I AM FREAKIN' OUT!!!!! Does that mean I'll just have to rely on Lunasol for awesome palettes... I'm really heartbroken right now... Kanebo Philippines - why are you doing this to me????

Me and just base makeup..
The palette we're focusing on today... I only used the 2 middle colours as I don't like the texture of the two outer colours... Pffttt
So yeah... my usual step of applying the Silver mousse shadow as a base...
I used the grey shade in this palette... my favorite grey everrrr! Its metallic and just super pretty.. I used it all over my lid...

So after putting the grey all over the upper lid, i also put some of the grey on the outer half of the lower lids...
next is I apply the shimmery black shade from the Kate palette on the outer 1/3 of my upper eyelid. going towards the crease..
looks like that blended? hehe
I blended some of the silvery shade from the Kate Palette in the inner 1/3 of my uper lids and my lower lids.. and it ended up like this...
Liner time!
I used Kate Gel Liner. This is my first ever gel liner i got a few months ago. I'm really satisfied with this as it's very very long lasting. Its also very pigmented and it comes with a great brush. Super affordable!
Trust that this liner will last you thru the day without smudging... Super duper awesomeness!
I got this early this year and it's almost done...
I also very lightly applied the gel liner on the lower 1/2 of my eye...
I then apply my mascara base and mascara...
I used my Visee mascara.. Darn it it works so well.. Gotta trust Kose for super duper amazing mascaras!
Hahaha! my brows look so bad with flash... like hella pale ... but it doesn't look like that in real life.. i promise!

I like the combo of the Coffret D'Or cheek colour with Ellana Hazelnut Latte for my foundation coz I look tanned... ^_______________^;;
I love it!

Seriously.. today was my 3rd and last attempt to watch New Moon...
FAIL!
I have to go sleep early to go to the Korean Embassy tomorrow.
What kind of of face should I wear tomorrow?
