[HowTo] Blue and Brown Eyes Coffret D'Or Style
I had a realization today.....
that I no longer hate blue eyeshadow...
Hahahaha I used to hate it with so much passion back when I was working as a junior makeup artist trainer..
Now, i just realized that with the right amount of sparkle it can look pretty cute... :)
Featuring this SA Eyes Pallette 04 from Kanebo Coffret D'O... Yay! Basically it has 2 eyeshadow colours, one highlighting powder and the middle is a sparkle gel liner...
Stuff used:
- Human Nature Sunflower and Papaya Day Moisturizer
- Nature & Co Sun Essence
- Skin79 Gold Caviar BB cream
- Ellana MMU French Vanilla Latte Foundation
- VOV Castledew Mousse Eyeshadow in Silver
- Coffret D'Or SA Eyes Pallette 04
- Coffret D'Or Liquid Eyeliner
- Kate Mascara Base
- Fairy Drops Mascara
- Lavshuca Eyebrow Pallette
- Coffret D'Or Shine Drape Rouge Lipstick
Start!
Mine blotchy eye....
Take the Castledew Mousse eyeshadow... to be used as a base for the shadow to last longer and to add more shine/shimmer...
I just basically put this much on each eye...
There ya go with the mousse eyeshadow on...
take the blue eyeshadow and apply all over the eyelid, concentrating on the lashline..
get some of the sparkly gel liner and apply on the inner1/3 of the eyelid including the tear duct area.. (?)
It should look somewhat like this or better ...
And then i apply the brown eyeshadow on the lower 1/2 of the lower lids...
It will look like this... sorta...
and then blend some of the brown eyeshadow on outer 1/2 of the crease...
and with a brow pallette... fill in the brows...
and then line the eyes with this bronzey liquid liner.. i love this.. Coffret D'or liquid liners aren't only sweat proof and waterproof, they add a super pretty shimmer to the eyes... not to mention that their colour selection rocks!
With the eyebrows, mascara base, mascara... it should look somewhat like this...
Put blush.. and then lips.. i chose a very subdued shade as i just want a super feminine light, easy breezy look....
How the whole things look with flash.. haha and the one below, without flash...

Very nice! I also hate blue with a passion, but I think I might try it after your super awesome tutorial. :D
wow! cool!!
i think the trick is contouring it with a non-blue coz usually people would just do a monochromatic sort of light blue with dark blue.. so i find that it looks more subtle and less garrish with brown ^^
