Fasting from shopping

So.. What could i fast that would really be hard for me to sacrifice for lent?

Well... shopping of course...

I went to Trinoma with Moise to pick up some sunscreen for the upcoming GK Bayani Challenge in Palawan.

Initially we had several options:

Nature & Co
Kanebo Allie SPF 50++
L'Occitane
Alba Organics Green Tea SPF 30
Jason Sunbrellas SPF 40

We ended up buying the Jason Sunbrellas one because not only is it 1/3 the price of Kanebo Allie... It's also natural..

Oh well....

What I picked up from Healthy Options and the Kanebo counter... Snacks.. hehe i bought snacks .. because at different times during the day my stomach grumbles..

I also got the Kate blush... because it was 10% off..

I got mine in PK-1 instead of the OR-1 that i had originally just to try something new. :)

I actually love Kate blush because it gives a nice glow.. not an overwhelming shimmer.. its really natural looking and fresh.

10% off!!! i would have much preferred 50% off but that never happens with Kanebo stuff..

my abused OR-1 blush... it's time for you to retire... but i will still use you til your last ounce of colour..

From this day on... I will only blog and review about my existing stuff...

ESPRIQUE PRECIOUS is now in Manila

Went to Essenses yesterday to go to Nature & Co and voila~ I saw Esprique Precious sitting prettily on the counter...

I didn't buy anything though and I must say I'm a bit disappointed that they only carry so much stuff... >,< (not a lot.. not a lot at all.. actually.. )

There weren't even any visuals of the brand.. the products were just there.. waiting for people to buy it without anything that will compel a person to buy...

I'm still thinking of buying the true impact eyes...
it's actually cheaper that coffret d'or.. the palette is about 500pesos less than how much a coffret d'or palette would go for.. this esprique precious is selling for PHP1,450.

bad thing is it only comes in 2 colours.. this and some greenish looking palette.. >,< i feel so deprived for the philippine market..

none of this 2010 spring makeup...

so so so sad... >,<
this lip gloss is actually the only lip makeup they have there... there were loads of shades... but yeah...

Anyhoo.. i shouldn't be complaining ...at least esprique precious is here... however, i'm having a nervous feeling inside my heart that this brand won't last long.. they'll pull it out soon just like with fasio... >-<

as for now.. i'll keep my fingers crossed and schedule a day to go back and actually get some stuff...

[FOTD] Mim on a candy makeup binge

Okay.. it's been a week and i'm still obsessed with candy-coloured makeup... >,<

i hope i don't gain from this candy coloured makeup binge...!

I love Kanebo and Ellana....!!!!

mini review:
i am actually super in love with this palette. i picked this up at the incheon airport on the way home from seoul..
why did i choose this palette? well aside from the lack of lunasol items in my collection (i only have the brow styling mascara and one other lunasol palette in khaki)... i thought the color combination in this palette is super interesting. 
it has super awesome fine shimmer that isn't chunky like in the khaki palette that i have.  aside from the fact that i got this at around 700-1000pesos off compared to how much this palette is in rustan's.

i love how i can combine the aqua and the bronze and still have a cohesive look... or i can do the bronze and gold separately.. and the aqua and light blue separately..

i highly recommend lunasol's sheer contrast palettes. they're super lovely and judging from my other kanebo palettes.. it's gonna last a really long time.. without feeling neglected ^^
