[HowTo] Simply Just Pearl Shadow and Black Eyeliner.. and Lioele stuff...

 Hello!

I've just recently bought contact lenses online and I've mistakenly transferred too much money. It would have been okay if it was just 30 pesos or 20 pesos... But no.. I was speechless when the seller told me that I overpaid 765 pesos! -_-;; I'm really waaaay too distracted.

But Beverly from Icah's Online Shop was kind enough to tell me that I've overpaid... She actually offered to send it back with my package but I was kinda scared that it'll get lost in the mail. So i just opted to go ahead and add one more product to my online purchase. I love how I got some free samples to try including foundation, BB cream and 2 kinds of makeup base.

I got the Liole Water Drop BB Cream.  I actually haven't used this yet... So for today's face I'll be using the 3D Skin Fix Makeup Base and the 3D Skin Fix Foundation.

Its actually my first time using or buying makeup from Lioele.. I've only tried Ampoule that I used for a little while to fade my nasty acne marks.

Bare face.. >,< somehow it reminds me of a character on a super popular movie.... Lord of the Rings.. Mehn.. I look like Gollum... >,<

So I didn't use BB cream today... first time in a long time I'll try putting on a makeup base and a foundation instead of my usual array of BB cream + mineral powder...

I think the shade is Natural Beige.. Something like that... I threw it away already and forgot to take a shot of the back label >,<

It looks like liquid foundation doesn't it? But when you apply it.. Its much thinner and less pigmented... and more silicone-feeling... O_O I don't like it..

My face with the 3D Skin Fix Makeup Base...

Next is the  Foundation...

I actually love this foundation... I love it as much as I hate the Makeup Base. Haha.

This shade is shade 21 pure ivory.. I really didn't think it would match my skin colour since Korean foundations are usually insanely too white for a Filipina like me... But this shade blended pretty well on my skin!

It doesn't feel heavy at all on the face and it also doesn't look like i put heaps and heaps of layers of makeup on my face. I love it! It's actually being sold at Icah's Online Shop at around Php847 for 30ml... I'm still thinking if I need it since I really like how it feels on my skin.

So on top of that I put my usual Love Minerals by Human Nature Pressed foundation.. It's coming out very soon. I just saw the initial pressed samples yesterday.. It's looking pretty good especially with the gold compact. ★★★

I really think Gollum possessed me today >,<;;

Moving on to the highlight.. Especially with me.. It's always the EYES

Here's my bare eye...

I will only put minimal product.. that's:
  1. pearl eyeshadow
  2. black eyeliner
  3. mascara
Muhahahahaha~ it's all about making your life easier!

So this is Missha Dual Eye Tip. One side is powder and the other side is liner of the exact same shade.. (is that cheating?)

So I just put the pearl powder shadow all over my eye in a very not so calculated way...

Then I sorta just rub away any rigid lines with my finger so it'll look blended...

Looks like this...

Nothing special there..

Next is the eyeliner...
Today's weapon of choice is Etude House code B Strong Eyes Cream Liner... ★★★

I just put a line on the top lashline...

And then get whatever's left over on the brush and lightly apply it on the outer half of the lower lash line...
After that.. I get the other side of the dual liner... this one is the pearl liner and I line my entire lower lash line with it...
I line including the waterline with the pearl liner...

To make it even pearlier... I put the pearly powder on top of the liner... ★★★

After that... Curl the lashes!

After that add mascara.. I didn't take pics of the mascara step anymore..

So here I'll be showing you how I do my eyebrows.. In a semi-systematic way.

I use this light brown palette by Lavshuca that's almost unusable.. Hehe

I really like the colours of this palette and I use it everyday. ★★★

First I use the light brown shadow in the middle...

Then I fill in my brows from the fullest part...
 going towards the middle.
Then I get the darker brown and start filling in the outermost part of my brow going towards the tail.. (weird explanation right here)
You can clean up the tail a bit with a Q-tip...

So next is the brow mascara...as usual I use Lunasol Brow Styling Mascara..

Just like with the brow powder I apply it from the inner towards the outer...
It looks waaaaaay blonde here.. But not in natural light!
Any excess you can even it out by using this brow brush thing...

Next.. CHEEKS!

I used my Luci Darling Cheek Palette that I truly love..

I apply it on the fleshiest part of the cheeks..

Then the LIPS!★★★

I'm using this limited edition one from Paul & Joe.. I don't even know which collection... Sorry

 Cute cat!
I love these small details that asian cosmetic companies put in their products..
This is the lippy on my lips. It's like a natural looking pink...

Then I did my hair... I got a couple of new things in my growing Liese collection... The blue bottle in the middle and the white short bottle 2nd from the right.
  • Styling Water for Hair Dryer
  • Designing Jelly Swing & Wave
There's really just something about Japanese hair products that is always a cut above the rest... I must find out about it soon!!!! ★★★
Lalalala...

finished face and hair~

Blurry >,<
 No flash
 With flash
 Phone pics with natural light

I love my phone... It blurs out my blemishes.. Like a built-in photoshop. Muhahahahhaha! The benefits of not having high megapixels!

Off to Pampanga tomorrow with Pam, Juno and Moise because Karl's a flake. Tsk. Muhahaha~!

★★★
Goodnight!

Coming soon... and several interesting things...

Hello!

I was supposed to post a tutorial and a review but because I was rushing out the door this morning, I forgot my camera >,<;;

Anyway... here's what's coming soon...

Yummy...!

Hahaha..

Ta-da! It's Etude House's Sweet Eye Cupcake in Banana Choco Chip ^^;;

Yes.. A review, Howto and FOTD!

And as I was browsing through cosmetic brand sites I saw several interesting things such as this Eye Cupcake...

This one is also from Etude House and it's called Color my Brows in Light Brown.. I'm kinda brow-obsessed..Maybe that's why I got excited with this product.

(photo taken from the Etude House site)

I'm currently using up my Lunasol Brow Styling Mascara however, Etude House and Lunasol pricing are just worlds apart.  So if this product will reach the Philippine shores... I'll probably get this instead of repurchasing the Lunasol one.

Which reminds me.. I still have an unopened tube of brow mascara that I got from Singapore. It's by Fasio... So I guess I don't mind if this product will come a bit delayed ^^

Another one is this...Etude House 황금 비율 윤곽 메이커... Hahaha translated it's Golden Ratio Contour Maker.

(photo taken from the Etude House site)

It's basically a blush, bronzer and highlighter in one. More like that one that was released by Shiseido Maquillage awhile ago. Only again... 1/8 the price. I'm excited about this!!

Next one is Laneige Snow BB Cream ...
(Picture taken from the Laneige site)

I just saw this from a site and saw the ingredients... This is the first BB Cream I've seen that doesn't contain parabens as a preservative... It's pretty cool. I've yet to see how good this really is.  I'm not sure about buying this though considering how expensive Laneige is here.  But I still find it interesting... At this point in my life... BB cream is just a necessity... So I hope more and more brands will come up with BB creams with less chemicals... Maybe HumanNature can come up with one next year? Hahaha!!

In terms of skin care... I saw this from the Etude site awhile back and saw and bought the actual thing a few days ago...
(photo taken from the Etude House site)

I'm actually quite happy that a lot of mainstream brands are going towards lessening the chemicals in their products.

Just like this Pure Joy Line

It claims to be 7 Free Formula

GMO-free
synthetic fragrance free
 benzophenone free
paraben free
mineral oil free
synthetic dye free
ethanol free

Not bad to start with...! Way to go Etude!

Next one ... Is the Mix Color Cheeks of Lavshuca. Which is the poor man's Kanebo.. Hahaha Just kidding.. It's the cheapest brand of Kanebo that I know of that sells outside Japan (but unfortunately not in this country)

(photo taken from the Lavshuca site)

These gradiation cheek stuff are cool cool cool coz it gives more depth to the cheek instead of looking flat.

Howell... That's it pansit for now... Off to finishing the day job and moving on to the night job of making meatless burgers.

Tata for now!

Edit:

I wanted to post this face I did a few days ago with majorly alarming red lipstick. HAHA
The lipstick is actually my mom's... I just wanted to try an orangey red lippy...

This was last..... Wednesday...

Makeup used:
Pure Beauty Jasmine Water BB Cream
Love Minerals by Human Nature Powder Foundation in Island Shell (yes! We have shade names now!!)
Love Minerals by Human Nature Blush in Petal Bloom
Etude House Code B Cream Liner
The Magnum Volum' Express Mascara by Maybelline
Lunasol Brow Styling Mascara
Lavshuca Brow Palette
Mac Matte Lipstick in Lady Danger
Vov Lip Gloss

Okay... Seriously signing off...

[HowTo] Japan eyes & DIY Mineral Blush

Hello again.. (Joana)!

Hahahaha...

So here is my 2nd post of the day. Trying to compensate for the lost time.

So this particular look I did with the blush that I concocted in the lab.  Its pretty cool ^^ I'm pretty satisfied with it.

So first... The basics.

BB cream. Skin79 Intense Classic...

Concealer and powder....

Point makeup #1.. The peachy blush that I formulated.... ^^

Tada! I look sun-kissed or sunburned?

For the eyes... Super simple.... I just lined the top lid with a flick at the end...

I used Bloom's Liquid Eyeliner.

Like so....

Note that I also paled out my lips with the excess BB cream that was left over on my fingers...

Then i take the darkest shadow from my Etude House Luci Darling Palette.. Its a super dark midnight blue...

I just blended it on the outer half of my lower lid.. .

And then I take the lightest, most shimmery shade of the palette.. Its a shimmery gold with large flecks of shimmer...

I blended that shade on the inner lower lids.. .

Like this...

\
So I take this Code B Cream Liner by Etude House. By far the best cream liner I've tried.

I lined the upper and lower waterlines to make a more intense look...

With flash.. and Ive put on mascara already...

Dark, dark, dark.. I like the strong eyelines... contrasting with the bare upper lid.

How it should look like with the self-made blush...

Nude lippy by Lavshuca... ^^

Super nude...

That's the thing with Japanese makeup I guess. Really dark eyes and cheeks but super pale, erased lips.

Tada!

Wait.. The hair's not quite done yet.

I must fix them curls with my iron..

There ya go!

I actually really enjoyed this look. I hope you enjoy your version of this too. ^^
