[HowTo] Purple Lined Eyes

Ack! Blogging is too much fun...

I hope people don't get tired of my how tos even if they aren't super duper elaborate and complicated... ^^

Starting off with the base...

BB cream on.... My left eye is still puffed up... Ack... I don't know what to do with it anymore... >,<

Next... just haphazardly line the upper lids.... i used a gel liner today... A black pencil liner would give you the same result... I just decided on gel for today since gel liner never smudged on me.... ^^

Next put a sparkly dark purple on top of the black liner... I used Coffret D'Or Palette 04 I think...

This brush... I got from Target maybe 10000000 years ago... It's still intact.. Super good buy for less than $3....^^

Doing those 2 steps will have you looking like this... maybe better...

and then go back to the palette once more and apply the pink on the outer lower lash line and the light purple on the inner lower lash line...

Like so..

It will make you end up looking like this.. sort of...As you can see the brows and the lashes have already been done...

Next is the blush....

I used a really sparkly one for this look... Its Peach Cheek by Etude House... Its a really cute shimmery baked blush duo.... The peach part works well with darker skin tones like my sister's, Ate Wow. When I applied it on her it made her look radiant.  But it doesn't quite give her a flush... just radiance..

I know there are some rules about being extra glittery.. .eyes and cheeks... well... I don't usually follow rules so watch me break one now... With sparkly eyes and sparkly cheeks... Hehehehe ....

Just applied on the fleshy parts of the cheeks... Like so..

Last but definitely not the least since it's my current favorite product...

Lip gloss!!

Super cute princessy packaging...

The applicator amazingly has 2 sides.. One has a furry side like a normal doe foot wand...

Then the other side is like a spatula... It's really interesting ^^
But it's flat!!
I love this Esprique Precious lip gloss I got last Sunday... Perfect color.. Super flattering... It's actually pretty sheer but not to the point of being transparent..
The texture is perfect... sticky enough to be long lasting but not TOO much...

the shade is great!

Finish!

Face with and without flash ^^

Stuff used..

Good night for now... ^^

[HowTo] Grey & Pink Day

I think my hiatus got me addicted to posting on a daily basis... I hope this isn't too much that I'll do a few months of blogging slumber once again....

Another simple working day look for me today...consisting of 2 colours.. Pink and Grey... individually i like them... but together... I love them... ^^

Starting of with the base makeup....as usual... Skin79 BB Gold VIP Collection.... the best BB cream i've ever tried... then Ellana Radiant Concealer... and then Ellana Hazelnut Latte Mineral Foundation...

Cheeky Time! Paul & Joe Face Color... thingy..

Applied on the inner most parts of the cheeks...

Next is the eyes....

I actually skipped a step in the photos... I initially applied eyeliner on the upper lids only...
And then I followed it up by putting the grey shadow on top of it and slightly winging it out....

Like so...

There.. as simple as can be...

Slightly open eye...and applied the mascara already... Using Visee..since it's by Kose... IT'S SUPER HARD TO REMOVE!!! haha

Last step for the simple eye makeup is lining the lower waterline with a metallic light blue pencil... same as the one I used in yesterday's loook...

Like this..   Tada!

Eye makeup complete!

Next is a short review on my new lippy~

It's Etude House's Lucidarling Fantastic Rouge Gloss in Candy Pink. So cute! I really like this formulation since it's the right stickiness that lasts longer on the lips... Sort of how Lancome's Juicy Tubes are.. but it comes in a doe foot applicator... Which they call a "hybrid brush" I don't understand why... Hahaha

The colour is a bright fuschia....

with lip gloss on the bottom lip...

With and without flash...

Finish!

Lalalalalala~~

To attend or not to attend the Paul and Joe workshop on Sunday... That is the question... Because I know for sure my wallet will lose weight if I go...

I'll think and sleep over it... Tsk Tsk!!

[HowTo] Vov Eyes... and some reviews on Covercom Pressed Powder and EH Lucidarling Blush Palette

Hola!

So here I am... blogging once again coz I feel like I've deprived myself over the past month...

Soooo here I am with another post...

Another simple everyday look... there's no inspiration for this one actually... just grabbed the first thing I saw in my makeup drawer...

Starting off... BB cream'ed face...BB cream of choice is Skin79.. it's just way more moisturizing than the others i've tried.. so it's G.O.O.D. love...

Moving on... Ellana concealer on the undereyes and on some redness.. it didn't quite heavily conceal my eyebags but... i'm not OC about it.. so i'm fine with that...

Coming up is my review...

So my mom got this Covercom Pressed Powder for me from a recent trip in Hongkong.  I'm not quite sure but I think it's by Sana and it's a super cheap Japanese drugstore brand...

I'm actually not the pressed powder type as I use my mineral foundation for touch ups but I just gave this one a try since my mom gave it to me.

Doesn't it look likea retainer case?

It's actually close enough to my skin tone... this is shade 01.... Comes with a cute puff and a mirror.

One thing I like about it is that it's not heavily scented. It just has a super slight smell to it.

However, like most powders I feel like it's so heavy on talc and dimethicone... that it feels like it clogs my pore. :/

The powder puff is a good size and is sufficient enough for an effective product application...

Ta-da! One thing I love about this powder is the coverage and the shade.... It's a good match to my skin tone..

Wowow. . my keyboard is so abnormal...

Next up is another review for this blush from Etude House..

It's called Luci Darling Fantastic Gradiation Cheek...Mine is Shade 3 Mix & Rose

I got it coz it's such a dead-ringer for the Jill Stuart blushes...that I can't find anywhere in this archipelago... >,<

It's reasonably priced for a decent-sized pan....

The only disappointment is that... initially i bought it with the intention of being able to use the different shades separately... like the one at the bottom as a contour, such and such... but it seems as if the bright pink on the upper right is the only pigmented shade.  The rest are just glowy fine shimmers...

With flash... product on the left cheek facing the picture.... dang I looks super cross eyed..

Anyhow i'm still happy with is since it gives a pretty, not so overpowering glow to my cheeks...

Next up is the eye makeup...

This is ... once again.... super simple and easy... like makeup for dummies...

I guess I've been pretty lazy lately....

I use the VOV silver mousse shadow...  and just sort of scatter it all over my lid...

Like so... Then do the same thing with the other eye...

Then get a silvery blue eyeliner, this one is by VOV as well.... it's really nice imo... Just like the lids like you would do normally with a black eyeliner...

Next, do the entire lower lid as well...I sorta poked my eye doing this... so kids.. beware!

And then I get the light blue shade of the Blue Coral palette and just sort of reinforced the inner lower lash line for extra shimmer ....

Then put mascara.. Using the Cat Eyes mascara by Maybelline....

Next...

Lips!  because I super love Paul & Joe nowadays.. I'm using #29 today...

LOVE!

It's a tad pinker than 20... and has bigger shimmer...

Finished Faces..

Weapons of choice...

That's it, pansit...

Goodnight!
