Mim, Myself & I...

I went there and well... tried getting something... turns out all they have are the lip sticks and the lip gloss trio...

the pallettes were coming in tomorrow... so i wasn't able to see it.. now i'm not even interested anymore...

So as i was trying on the lip sticks they had 3 shades...
-super bright pink
-neutral pinky brown
-pale pink

to my dismay the super bright pink made me look like a clown...

the pale pink made me look dead...



so the neutral pinky brown was all right... like i would get it... just coz the packaging is too cute to resist even if the shade is just mediocre... 

and so as i was going to get it...

THEY DON'T HAVE IT IN STOCK

i guess i'll just have to accept the fact that shu uemura and i... are not meant to be...


moving on to the Kanebo counters... hahaha

I met up with Jun Ho and Seong Nam (newly married! Yay! Congratulations!!!) in Glorietta and they were pretty late so I just roamed around... I knew I shouldn't have gone to Rustan's because I'm so sure I'm gonna get sucked in...

I got lipstick in 20 which is like a cute pinky nude colour which I shall wear tomorrow... and the bestest most interestingest nail enamel in the world!!!


Damn Japanese cosmetics... they're just simply works of art...

And then you shake it to get to this colour... ^^; I believe this is part of the Fall collection...

I shall wear this once I get tired of mine OPI Privacy Please pink polish... I love Paul & Joe packaging to bits....

OHHHHHHHH I got a present from the newlyweds.. they're handmade natural soaps that Junho made..

He's part of a Korean environmental NGO that cleans up the rivers and things like that and encourages natural and organic food.... (or so i think..)

So they gave me a paprika and a korean herb blend soap... I'm so happy! Everybody needs soap!

Hahaha.. but I've been warned.. these are not gonna smell good.. I'm ready for that... hahaha

I got so depressed over something that shouldn't be depressed about so I bought ummm nail polish.. Hahaha

WHY CHOOSE OPI? WHY NOT??

First of all aside from being one of the top brands of nail polish, this is actually a brand that's less evil than its contemporaries.

In the recent years, OPI has not been using toluene, formaldehyde and phthalates in their nail polishes...

YAY! Less evil, less worries...

I've yet to get my hands on some ZOYA NAIL POLISH which they say has even LESS bad stuff than OPI... It was a Boston-based brand that I couldn't locate anywhere in LA... sadness

Moving on...

Got a Top Coat that I badly need and Privacy Please which is a super pale pink that's very Essie Ballet Slipper-ish...


Nail beds are horrible but who cares...


Looks very bridal to me.. too bad I will not just wear plain nails on my wedding.

I also got something that I ran out of...

BLOOM LIQUID EYELINER in Ebony Brown... which is more like black in my books.. haha



Anyhoo.. first tried this eyeliner coz Yoo Seon gave me 2 of these... I ended up finishing both!

It's just a really good liquid liner because:

a. it doesn't run
b. it dries up super quick
c. it's easily removed with sunflower beauty oil
d. it's highly pigmented and it has a super solid colour even with just one stroke

Price ain't too bad either at PHP 650.00.

Thank God by on a whim depression purchases were all things I really needed already... except for the pinky nail polish...

I've been in an aqua frenzy... first my nails and then my eyes.. haha

Anyhoo.. The point makeup I used today is in2it Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner... I actually don't understand where in2it is coming from... In the packaging it says that it's made in Japan for the Southeast asian market... anyhoo... I will research on that when i feel like it... I see it's also popular in Thailand as I'm a part of www.jeban.com - a Thai beauty forum... XD


Got a huge bargain here. I checked this thing out in Trinoma and they were selling it for PHP 399. I didn't buy it then since I wanted think about it first... It's not something I would wear on a daily basis so I had to think about it...

The week after that I went to Megamall with my sister and saw the exact same thing.. ON SALE!!!! For PHP 230!!!

I love it.. I had to buy it since they slashed more than PHP 100 off.. Haha sucker


So today... I just felt like doing a step by step kinda thing... since this doesn't require a lot of steps.. (LAZY BUM!)



Products used aside from the HUMAN NATURE Skin Care:

I usually use a Castledew Cream shadow as a base but today I didn't so I started by lining the upper lids with a black pencil liner very carelessly...


Next I applied a super light gold eye shadow from the Lavshuca pallette all over the whole lid focusing on the area before the brow bone...
POP THE COLOUR IN!

I lined the aqua on the area right above where the black eyeliner is... and did somesort of imperfect flick...

Opened eye...

And then take your black liquied liner and go over where the pencil liner was and do a similar flick...
After that i did a wet application of the same gold eyeshadow on the inner lower lash line... and using the darkest green shade and used it on the lower outer lash line and some on the waterline..


Did the rest of the face.. i forgot to put a pic with mascara coz the pic above still looks alien.. with mascara looks better....




Ta doooosh!

The in2it liquid liner stays on all day....

and takes off easily with the best eye makeup remover in the world A.K.A HUMAN NATURE Sunflower Beauty Oil :P

I love LAVSHUCA.. too bad it's not available here... TT TT Heehee i just love their ads with Puffy Amiyumi... SO PRETTY ^^

i really don't know when I'll be be able to go on a lavshuca spree again.. but today to celebrate my love for lavshuca... most of the makeup i used is by shiseido... wahahahahaha jk

mostly lavshuca... darn it... i even love the name how it makes my lips pout when i say it.. LAVSHUCA!

My makeup today as really simple though.. just like any other day...


I didn't use any eyeliners with this one.. i just took the darkest shade from the Lavshuca pallette and applied it with a brush i sprayed with Jurlique Face mist...

I actually like doing this it has a less tendency to smudge and it doesn't make my eye feel heavy...

Heehee.. i love Lavshuca packaging.... ^^;; So pretty... too bad i didn't have their mascara and blush... but that's fine... til the next asian trip... ^^

if i can't wait that long i ocassionally find a few items here and there on ebay ^^
