Etude House Paraben Free Skin Care Stuff

Hello friends!

I've been under so much pressure nowadays... since the Love Minerals is getting launched soon.  I've decided to update my blog just to get my mind into some other stuff.

So I've been frequenting Etude House as y'all have noticed.  Whenever I'm there, I'd spend a long time just staring at their packaging design and reading through their ingredients list.

In a recent trip I got 2 items from the Pure Joy Line which I've mentioned in a previous blog.

I got the Calming Toner and the Nourishing Lotion just to explore how it's going to be like and to get some ideas for future product innovations.. ^^

I ended up liking it. You can definitely tell that it's made for sensitive skin because it almost doesn't smell like anything. I apply the toner every morning and evening with a cotton pad and i follow it up with the lotion.

With the lotion in this format. It's still quite thick that you'll have to whack it out of the very stiff bottle that's not squeezable at all... Is the Philippine market open to this kind of packaging for a facial lotion that would come in a non-squeezable bottle? At the end of the day.... which would you prefer? Aesthetic beauty of the packaging or ease of use of the product?

These items did not disappoint, even if they're free of 7 major chemicals, there's still room to purify the formulation some more such as ridding it off the phenoxyethanol, PEGs, glycols etc. But what it doesn't mention that it has are a lot of natural extracts.

hyaluronic acid
quinoa seed extract
rosea root extract
aloe vera leaf extract
chamomile extract
bergamot fruit oil
eucalyptus leaf oil
lemon fruit oil
lime oil
orange oil
pine leaf oil
calendula extract

Whew! That's a mouthful!
That's what I like about Etude House, they pack a lot of natural extracts and oils without even declaring them in the main label... ^^

Another paraben-free skin care I saw while I was snooping around the shop was this...

This one is the AC Clinic Pink Powder Spot...

Yes.. It sounds very weird.. But I like how it's basically just cypress hinoki extract, salicylic acid and sulfur.

So basically it's not an emulsion... If you show this formulation to a chemist they'll say that this formulation is a failure coz there's separation... but Etude House used it to their advantage and basically what you do is you poke your cotto bud into the semi solid powder that's settled at the bottom half of the bottle and that's what you'll apply on your zits.

It's pretty funny when you apply it on your face coz all my nieces give me a weird look when I have this on... but hey, it works! Not as fast as let's say Oxy would or any of the super powerful anti-acne creams out in the market. But it does work.

It comes with the cotton buds and a complimentary facial wash (that I don't like so much so i don't use!) and it doesn't have parabens, glycols, mineral oil or any nasty stuff. This is practically the purest item from Etude House!

So that's it for now. :)

Til next time!

Though Parabens are the effective preservative in cosmetics but they have proved to be the root cause of many fatal diseases. Paraben Free Skincare products are the best options. Always choose the paraben free skin products.
